April 28, 2013, my mom and I went to attend the "family gathering" for my Uncle Rick's memorial service. It still feels weird for me to say that. It's still weird to believe he is really gone. I was almost tearing up to see all of my family in one place! My Uncle Randy and Uncle Carey said very nice memories about my Uncle Rick! It was so nice! Everyone also liked the picture collage I made with pictures of him, and our family etc.
I had a bit of a better time then I expected. I actually wish I had taken more pictures of my family there...I probably should have but...I kinda thought, "I am not sure if people want their picture taken at a memorial...it's more of a sad thing." But I took a few I will share.
