What the heck...this is starting to look like the ipad to me! o: IT'S A START SCREEN! NOT A MENU!! ;'(

Windows 8 is the newest version of Windows in 2012. I personally like 7 better. I have been to Best Buy and tried 8 on the floor models. I DO NOT LIKE IT! There is way too many squares and buttons. As I am told by my Uncle Ron, (Who has worked for HP and is good with computers) He says Windows 8 was designed for touch screens. So if you get it as a laptop or a desktop computer, it will not be used the way it's meant to be. PLUS for YEARS and YEARS in every version available for Windows, there has been a Start Menu. So basically Stefanie is not sure WHAT to think of it, I need to get more of a feel to it. o: I Am A Superstar!! : ) (talk) 18:30, December 25, 2012 (UTC)

The Doctor's opinionEdit

It generally runs faster, I know how to get the start menu back, apps are a neat concept, not a fan of how touch based it is, they also seemed to have killed the minimize/maximize on the apps. It is generaly easy to learn and may take some gettin used to. But you better get it so your computer isn't outdated :-/

Anthony's OpinionEdit

Well, I never used Windows 8, But it doesn't really like good. I like Windows 7 better. The start screen more likes a tablet menu or something. Well it is touched screen based. I thought Windows 8 was gonna look exactly like Windows 7 but upgraded. - Anthony likes trains, and so will you. >:P 01:10, September 11, 2013 (UTC)
